Privacy Policy
Operator and current status
Gareth Cook operates this private utility. Contact: [email protected]. The verifier is currently inactive; its dedicated authentication and live operation have not been accepted for routine use. The following describes the limited processing intended if it is separately enabled.
Google access and purpose
The requested permission is Google Drive read-only access. Technically, it permits reading files accessible through the connected personal account. Application rules limit intended use to selected registered outputs; those rules do not turn the Google permission into folder-only access. The purpose is to verify file copies, not to analyse unrelated Drive content.
Data used and storage
Verification uses the connected account identity, necessary file information and access information, and full file bytes for comparison. Processing, verification records and recovery copies are intended to remain on the owner’s computer. Before operation is enabled, any persistent OAuth credentials must be held in secure device storage. Tokens and credentials will not be published or included in ordinary logs.
Sharing and prohibited uses
Drive file contents are not sent to this website, advertising services or AI-training services, and are not sold. Any separately enabled operational status reporting will exclude file contents, filenames, local paths and credentials. No such reporting is currently active for this utility.
Retention and control
The utility has no automatic deletion or expiry-based purge. Local verification records and recovery copies are retained under the owner’s control until he authorises their removal. Revoking this dedicated utility through Google Account settings stops future authorised API access but does not erase copies already retained locally. Removing retained data or original files is a separate owner decision.
Website hosting
These informational pages are hosted by Cloudflare. They contain no forms, upload controls, advertising, application analytics or third-party scripts. Cloudflare may process normal connection and security information, such as an IP address, browser information and requested pages, and may use essential security mechanisms or cookies. This does not give the web host access to Google Drive files or OAuth tokens. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy linked below for its own processing and international-transfer information.
Google API Limited Use
The utility’s use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The utility will not use that information for advertising or generalised AI model training.
Questions and changes
Privacy questions or requests about locally retained data can be sent to [email protected]; do not attach private files or credentials. The policy must be updated if the utility’s processing changes. Last updated: 16 October 2026.
